Where We Are

The Playa Restaurant

Our Bar/Restaurant is situated on the North Coast of the Isle of Sheppey, situated between the mouthv of the Thames Estuary and the North Sea.

We are very proud of our Blue Flag beach and Promenade in Minster, its great for taking a stroll, dog walking and seaside fun when the weather allows. Be sure to catch the beautiful sunrises and views year round, and even Sunrise and Sunset on the same day in the long Summer days.

There are also plenty of other parts of this extraordinary Island to explore, from the Pioneering Aviation History and daring of the Worlds first pilots, including The Short Brothers, Charles Rolls (of Rolls Royce), Lord Moore-Brabazon and the Revolutionary Wright Brothers. To the Tudor History of Shurland Hall, the Dutch Invasion and the Viking invasions to the events of WW2.

We always try to support the local community where possible.

The Lamb is produced through a regenerative food and fibre agricultural system on a local farm in Stockbury, Kent within an AONB.

Regenerative agriculture is a method of farming to restore the balance of the natural ecosystem, maintenance and restoration of native landscapes with a main focus on building carbon stocks within the soil.

The system strives to produce climate beneficial lamb and wool from the native Romney sheep.

The dual purpose characteristics of the Romney breed are utilised to produce lamb and mutton which is 100% pasture reared and butchered within a 3 mile radius of the farm.

The farming practices provide a transparent, high animal welfare system and curtailed supply chain, offering an "open farm gate" policy to all consumers.

Our farming mission is to create a high quality food and fibre system that supports the land for future generations.
